Ethernet (Ethernet) is a branchable broadcast communication system that distributes digital packets between computing stations in localized areas. The system established by the packet transport mechanism specified by Ethernet may be considered as a local computer network or as a loosely coupled multiprocessor system. Ethernet Shared Communication Device - Ether is a passive broadcast “medium” without central control. Each competing sending station completes the coordination of broadcasting their packets to media based on controlled statistics. Each receiving station receives the packets sent from the medium according to the method of packet address identification. According to the Ethernet model experimental results of setting up one hundred nodes on one kilometer coaxial cable, the design principle and implementation method of Ethernet are described. For the sake of completeness, models for evaluating performance under heavy load and packet communication protocols for controllable errors are also included.
