中国移民母亲与美国出生的女儿间的关系一直是谭恩美小说中的主要关注点。本文旨在对小说《喜福会》进行文本细读的同时来挖掘作品中四对母女由矛盾冲突到理解融合的微妙关系,揭示母亲是连接过去与现在的桥梁,女儿只有通过对母亲的继承与延续,才会实现自我的价值的道理。
The relationship between Chinese immigrant mothers and American-born daughters has always been a major concern in Amy Tan’s novels. The purpose of this paper is to explore the subtle relationship between the conflicting conflicts and the understanding and integration of the four pairs of mother and daughter in the novel while revealing that the mother is the bridge connecting the past and the present. Inheritance and continuity, will realize the value of self-truth.
