The authors wet-digested biological samples with sulfuric acid and nitric acid and determined the concentration of tin in the 9.6% sulfuric acid solution using atomic absorption spectrometry with hydride generation. This method determines the equivalent of 3.3 ppb total tin and 0.33 ppb organotin in the test sample.
