随着中美就市场准入达成双边协议,中国加入世贸组织指日可待。加入WTO不仅是一个经济问题,也是一个法律问题。一旦我国获准加入WTO,应对不符合WTO规则的法律、法规及政府法令作出修补,以适应WTO的游戏规则。这是最近在北京召开的“WTO与中国律师业研讨会”上与会专家提出的。 我们特别摘选了外经贸条法司张玉卿司长、以及全国人大财经委副主任、著名经济学家厉以宁先生在本次会议上的发言(摘要)以飨读者。
As China and the United States reach bilateral agreements on market access, China’s accession to the WTO is just around the corner. Accession to the WTO is not only an economic issue but also a legal issue. Once our country is allowed to join the WTO, we should patch up the laws, regulations and government decrees that do not meet the WTO rules to adapt to the WTO rules of the game. This was recently presented by experts attending the “Seminar on WTO and Chinese Lawyers” held in Beijing. In particular, we selected the speeches of the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Zhang Yuqing and the speech of Mr. Li Yining, the deputy director of the Financial and Economic Committee of the NPC, and the famous economist at this meeting (abstract) to readers.
