The 6th resident journalists’ work seminar of China Public Health Magazine was held in Beidaihe from July 12th to July 14th, 1991. The staff of 54 resident reporters and magazines from all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities with separate plans, and the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Zhao Laifu, Assistant to the President and Assistant Editor-in-Chief. Comrade Meng Qingyun, executive deputy director and deputy chief editor of the magazine, first reported on the work of the magazine since the fifth resident reporter conference. He said that in the past three years, he has been in charge of the Ministry of Health and the Chinese Association for Preventive Medicine, and all levels of national health and disease prevention units and medical research.
