民国时期,湖北诸多市县乡镇的民间团体和商号,曾假借诸多理由发行钱票,经多年历史沧桑,这些民间纸币已十分稀少。距武汉地区不远的汉川县,其民间商号发行的纸币,极难寻觅,此前未曾见过实物,成为民间纸币收藏者的一种遗憾。值得庆幸的是,2009年12月,先后两次在国外拍得四张民国初年湖北汉川县田二河镇商号发行的纸币,既为湖北民间纸币增添了新的品种,又填补了湖北民间纸币中缺少汉川县民间纸币实物的一项空白。令人惊喜的是,其中一张“祥泰源”商号钱票,印有“黎元洪头像”图案,颇为罕见。
During the period of the Republic of China, non-government organizations and trade names in towns and villages in many cities and counties in Hubei Province issued counterfeit money on numerous reasons.
