东汉许慎所作的《说文解字》是我国古代最有影响的字书。他用“部首”对汉字进行分类,并用六书(象形、指事、会意、形声、假借、转注)的原则进行字形分析,以求汉字造字初的本义,深刻影响了后人对汉字的认识,也由此形成了后世字书、字典编撰的基本规范。我们要分析“武”字的字形、字音,探讨其造字初义,就要以《说文解字》为主要依据。
Xu Shen made by the Eastern Han Dynasty “Explain Word” is the most influential ancient Chinese book.
