号称“奇险天下第一山”的西岳华山,在唐代诗人李白《西岳云台歌送丹丘子》中被描述成“西岳峥嵘何壮哉,黄河如丝天际来。”意为滚滚东逝的黄河水,在华山脚下也如丝般悄悄地来,静静地去。华山是中华民族文化的发祥地之一。据清代著名学者章太炎先生考证,“中华”和“华夏”皆因华山而得名。华山四季四景,“云华山、雨华山、雾华山、雪华山”给人以仙境之美感。山上景色千变万化,云雾缭绕,是所谓的西京王气之所系。历代文人墨客在华山留下了不朽的足迹和千古传唱的佳句。
