1931年6月21日,正当我军在赣东、闽西广大地区开展群众工作,建立红色政权,扩大工农武装,中央苏区一片欢腾的时候,蒋介石窜到了南昌,亲自组织和指挥对我中央苏区的第三次反革命“围剿”.这消息象一股风一样传到部队,广大指战员一个个磨拳擦掌,决心叫这个人民的公敌、反动派的头子亲自尝一尝人民铁拳的滋味.
