党的十四大确定,建立社会主义市场经济体制,是我国经济体制改革的目标。社会主义市场经济体制,是以公有制(包括全民所有制和集体所有制)为主体,个体经济,私营经济、外资经济为补充的所有制结构;和以按劳分配为主体、其他分配方式为补充的分配结构为基础的。这就突破了把市场经济看成是属于社会基本制度范畴,同社会主义经济制度不相容的传统观
The 14th CPC National Congress has set and established the socialist market economic system as the goal of China’s economic restructuring. The socialist market economic system is an ownership structure supplemented by public ownership (including ownership by the whole people and collective ownership), individual economy, private economy and foreign-funded economy; and the distribution structure supplemented by the distribution according to work and other distributions based on. This broke through the traditional view that the market economy should be regarded as a category that belongs to the basic social system and incompatible with the socialist economic system
