5岁下水,16岁打破100米蛙泳全国纪录,随后在国际国内游泳比赛中劈波斩浪,7次获得100米、200米蛙泳比赛冠军,3次打破100米蛙泳世界纪录,被誉为中国“蛙王”。他就是上世纪50年代开创中国游泳新篇章,打造世界蛙泳神话的穆祥雄。生于1935年的穆祥雄,如今依然在为培养游泳人才而奔波努力。与游池相伴了73个春夏秋冬,78岁的穆祥雄这样解读自己的人生:“我一辈子就干了一件事,那就是游 5 years old, 16 years old to break the national record of 100 meters breaststroke, and then in the international and domestic swimming competition choppy waves, 7 times won the 100 meters, 200 meters breaststroke champion, 3 times to break the 100 meters breaststroke world record, known as China king”.
