This paper reports the synthesis of 25,26,27-triacetoxy-28-hydroxy calix [4] arene and its characterization by ~ 1H NMR, ~ (13) C NMR, IR and elemental analysis. Triacetoxy hydroxy calix [4] arene was recrystallized from acetonitrile to give a 1: 1 inclusion complex. X-ray structure analysis confirmed that it is monoclinic, its space group P2_1 / n, is an intermolecular inclusion compound. In the crystal, the triacetoxy-hydroxy calix [4] arene has a partially conical conformation with an “internal” structure. The residual hydroxyl is in the center of the molecule and is surrounded by the benzene and acetoxy groups. Offensive.
