湖北省红安县档案馆内保存着这样一份珍贵资料:当年刘邓大军南下路过红安筹粮,解放初期凭借据还账;七里坪“复兴”粮行老板一言九鼎,义捐十万。读来事迹生动,情趣盎然！ 1947年农历9月,中国人民解放军刘邓大军南下将要经过红安县七里坪镇。开始流言飞语甚多,闹得人心惶惶。尤其是几家粮行老板害怕没收他们的粮食,有的慌忙转运;有的降低价格托“潘复兴”粮行老板潘大钊代销。潘大钊已准备了20副竹排,打算将粮食运到新洲县李家集销售。
