Danjiangkou City is located in the northwestern part of Hubei Province and the upper and middle reaches of the Han River. It is the dam area of the mid-route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project and the core water source and important ecological function zone. It is known as “Asia’s Tianchi and China’s Shuidu”. The territory of the world’s cultural heritage, the national 5A level scenic area, the famous Taoist Holy Land - Wudang Mountains; known as “Asia Tianchi ” artificial freshwater lake, the national scenic area - Danjiangkou Reservoir.
