第一次来到景德镇陶瓷民俗博物馆,不禁深深被这座园林博物馆所倾倒。青山环抱,竹木青翠,鹅卵石铺就的小道曲折通向一栋栋青砖黛瓦的老院落。顺道而行,可看翠竹围绕的水碓展示区在溪水的流淌下缓缓而动。绿树成荫的院落里,雕栏画栋的古建筑正展示着现代科技手段诉说的古老陶瓷民俗故事。实在是一次自然美景与人文景观相结合的美妙旅行。景德镇陶瓷民俗博物馆于1979年筹建,1984年正式对外开放,前身为“景德镇陶瓷历史博物馆”。它以明清世俗建筑为载体,以景德镇瓷业习俗文化研究与展示为己任,是园林式国家三级博物馆。这里收藏的主要是明、清民俗陶瓷以及北宋以来的碑刻、石造像。为了让广大观众看到历史上真实的瓷都,江西省政府和景德镇文化部门历尽艰辛,把一处处古建筑,从原地搬移到了这里,按“修旧如旧”的原则进行集中保护与展示。
