Calligraphy education in the basic education stage has received much attention in recent years and it has developed rapidly. However, its development still faces two major constraints—the institutional environment and the lack of teachers. The latter can be described as the major bottleneck in the development of calligraphy education. At present, primary and secondary schools remove a small number of newly added calligraphic teachers. Calligraphy teachers often use external teachers of other subjects. On the whole, the composition of teachers constitutes a transitional feature of emergency and the professional qualities are uneven. Some calligraphers teach the true art of calligraphy and how to carry out calligraphy education.
