翻译是不同语言使用者跨文化交际的重要手段,一直是语言学家研究的热点。功能语言学派认为,语言的基本功能是交际,具有显著的社会性,由语言使用的语境体现出来。因此,翻译过程作为语义的跨文化构建,也应体现出这种社会性,使目标语能够正确地反映语境,实现特定的社会交际功能。本文选取小说语篇中的人物对话为例,研究语境分析对翻译的影响。
Translation is an important means of cross-cultural communication among different language users. It has always been a hot spot for linguists to study. Functional linguistics believes that the basic function of language is communication, with significant social, language context used reflected. Therefore, the translating process as a cross-cultural construction of semantics should also reflect this social nature, so that the target language can correctly reflect the context and achieve specific social communicative functions. This article chooses the dialogues of characters in the novel as an example to study the influence of context analysis on translation.
