To meet the higher requirements for field mobile air defense in the 1990s, the company has started to develop the new ATAK-35 twin-tube 35 mm self-propelled anti-aircraft gun based on the Cheetah self-propelled anti-aircraft gun. The main mission of the ATAK-35 twin-barrel 35mm self-propelled anti-aircraft gun is to follow the armor and mechanized units and keep them from being attacked at low or very low altitude by armed helicopters and fighter-bombers.
