Objective: To observe the effect of Taijiquan exercise on the dendritic cell subsets CD11c + and CD123 + in peripheral blood of middle-aged and elderly people, and to explore its possible role in improving aging of Taijiquan. Methods: Flow cytometry was used to detect the percentages of CD11c + and CD123 + in the peripheral blood of middle-aged and elderly people before and after Taijiquan exercise for 24 weeks. The changes of the levels of CD11c + and CD123 + in peripheral blood of Yang-style Taijiquan, Chen-style Taijiquan, The percentage of CD11c + and CD123 +. Results: The percentages of CD123 + in Taijiquan after 24 weeks did not change much before exercise. However, the percentage of CD11c + was significantly increased (5.49% ± 4.12% vs 8.75% ± 5.63%, P <0.05). The percentage of CD11c + and CD123 + in the peripheral blood of long-term Yang-style Taijiquan, Chen-style Taijiquan and exercise-fast exercise group were higher than those of the control group, and the trend was more uniform, which was the highest in Chen-style Taijiquan group> Yang-style Taijiquan group> (P <0.05). The percentage of CD11c + was more sensitive than that of the control group (8.12% ± 6.56% vs 5.72% ± 4.99%, P <0.05). Conclusion: CD11c + is highly sensitive to exercise and more sensitive to exercise intensity. It may serve as a target cell for further research on the regulatory mechanism of Taijiquan on immune function.
