橡皮冲裁作为一种模具结构型式并不是新创造。但由于普通橡胶性能差,生产上很少应用。只有当被誉为“流体钢”的聚氨酯橡胶问世后,才赋予它新的生命力,使其具有实际使用价值。 电器行业中,常遇到一些材料很薄的有色金属件,如我厂硅元件管芯合金片,常给模具制造带来很大困难。这主要是这类模具的配合间隙小,磨削要求高,装配时调整困难,稍有不当,影响冲件质量。采用橡皮模后,因用橡皮代替了金属凹模和冲头,排除了最难控制的配合间隙因素,这就大幅度地节省了机械加工,简化了装配调整。
