In August 1988, my junior high school teacher, who was just 19 years old, graduated from a junior high school in a township. At that time, the teachers in the rural primary and secondary schools in the south of Henan were relatively scarce, and many schools still had private teachers. For several of us who graduated from regular normal schools, school leaders, teachers and students showed great enthusiasm.
