在最近举行的“21世纪中国数学展望”会议表明,我国已有相当数量的具有扎实基础的青年数学家,并且有较好的发展势头。其中很多留学生都很热心于回国服务。同时,我国自然科学基金对数学科学的资助比其他学科更为有效。
The recent “21st Century China Mathematics Outlook” conference shows that there are a large number of young mathematicians in our country who have a solid foundation and have a good momentum of development. Many of the students are enthusiastic about returning to China. At the same time, China's natural science fund grants mathematical science more effectively than other disciplines.
