2010年9月,上海迎来了其歌剧舞台艺术史上前所未有的鸿篇巨制——《尼伯龙根的指环》。德国科隆歌剧院应上海世博会之邀,携近400名演职人员前来上海,为中国观众呈献了两轮8场《指环》。这对于上海乃至全中国的无论是瓦格纳迷、还是从未接触过瓦格纳的观众来说,都无疑是一场盛典,一次震撼的艺术体验。而此次《指环》的上海之行,为我们带来的不仅仅是一部作品的演出,更是对于中国歌剧制作、演员职业精神以及观众文化素养的一次深层思考。
September 2010, Shanghai ushered in its opera stage art unprecedented grand monarch - “Nibelungen’s ring.” At the invitation of Shanghai World Expo, Germany’s Cologne Opera House came to Shanghai with nearly 400 cast members and presented two rounds of 8 “rings” to Chinese audiences. This is undoubtedly a grand ceremony and a shocking artistic experience to both Shanghai and even China, whether they are Wagner fans or audiences who have never touched Wagner. The “ring” of Shanghai trip, brought us not only a performance of the work, but also for the Chinese opera production, actor professionalism and audience cultural accomplishment of a deep reflection.
