北京师范大学创办于1902年,是我国最早建立的一所高等师范学校。1952年院系调整,辅仁大学并入师大,中国人民大学和燕京大学的教育系也相继并入师大。学校规模不断扩大。现为国家教委直属的重点大学之一。学校的主要任务是为国家培养德、智、体全面发展的高等学校和中等学校师资,以及科学研究人员、理论工作者和管理干部。全校设有17个系、31个本科专业、14个研究所,担负着本科生、研究生、进修生、函授生和外国留学生的培养工作和科学研究任务。
Founded in 1902, Beijing Normal University is one of the earliest established higher normal schools in our country. 1952 Department of adjustment, Fu Jen Catholic University into the National Taiwan Normal University, Renmin University of China and Yanjing University Department of Education have also been merged into the National Taiwan Normal University. The school has been expanding. Now one of the key universities directly under the State Education Commission. The main task of the school is to train the teachers of higher education and secondary schools, as well as scientific researchers, theoretical workers and management cadres, who are all-rounded in their moral, intellectual and physical development in the country. The school has 17 departments, 31 undergraduate and 14 research institutes, responsible for undergraduate, graduate, advanced students, correspondence students and foreign students training and scientific research tasks.
