Experts who participated in the 2000 national newsprint market seminar believed that after China’s accession to the WTO, it will not cause major impact on the domestic newsprint industry within two or three years. China’s newspaper industry and paper industry have established a long-term relationship of mutual trust and friendly cooperation. As long as the quality of domestic newsprint has been continuously improved and the price is reasonable, it is acceptable for newspaper companies that domestic newsprint will have a certain degree of competitiveness.
