AIM:To investigate the role of the pelvic nerve pathway in stress-induced acceleration of colorectal transit and defecation in rats.METHODS:Surgical transection of rectal nerves(rectal branches of the pelvic nerve),vagotomy(Vag) or adrenalectomy(Adx) were
