赤峰市生产应用的玉米品种多达200~300个,品种市场混乱,基本没有当地主推品种,品种更新速度快,农民购种表现出明显的盲目性和随机性,一些品种由于不适应当地生产条件而造成减产的事件时有发生。文章介绍了赤峰地区玉米生产基本情况、自然气候条件、玉米品种的主要性状指标,提出了赤峰地区玉米品种选择关键技术。
