INTRODUCTIONrnLow back pain (LBP) is a major cause of disability among elderly individuals and imposes substantial social and economic burden on societies worldwide.1 Lumbar/intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) is one of the most common diagnoses involved in LBP and results in lumbar instability and height loss, which in t leads to symptomatic nerve compression, intervertebral foramen stenosis, adjacent segment degeneration, and instability-induced LBP.2
