在太湖与东海间的三条主要河流之一的娄江东面,是著名的历史名城太仓,也称“娄东”。这里不仅是郑和七下西洋的始发地,也是昆曲和江南丝竹的发源地。300多年前,这里还诞生了一个在中国美术史上举足轻重的画派,这个画派的影响力甚至一直延续到了今天。这就是以王时敏、王原祁、王鉴为核心的“娄东画派”。
In the east of Loujiang, one of the three major rivers between Taihu Lake and the East China Sea, it is a famous historic city of Taicang, also known as Lou-Dong. Here is not only the origin of Zheng He seven Western, but also the birthplace of Kunqu Opera and Jiangnan Sizhu. More than 300 years ago, a school of art which took the leading position in the history of fine arts in China was born here. The influence of this school of art has continued even today. This is based on Wang Shimin, Wang Yuan Qi, Wang Kam as the core “Lou East painting school ”.
