澳门于1887年正式化为葡萄牙殖民地,直至1999年才回到祖国怀抱。在澳门这个弹丸之地,现存在着逾5000多个社团,遍布澳门各行各业,并在澳门的社会发展中发挥着重要的作用。回归前,诸多因素限制使得葡萄牙对澳门直接管理的努力屡屡受挫,只能选择间接管理的方式,澳门社团在此发挥了重要的中介作用。回归后澳门各行各业的发展都与社团息息相关,社团在澳门的发展相对大陆来说是较为成熟的,因此理顺澳门社团发展的过程,分析不同阶段社团发展的不同情况,对于澳门社团的研究至关重要。
Macao formally became a Portuguese colony in 1887 and did not return to the motherland until 1999. In Macao, the theater of events, there are now more than 5,000 associations in all walks of life in Macao and play an important role in the social development of Macao.
