高林植小组是在深井下面30～40公尺沿着花岗岩与泥质砂岩接触带掘进水平坑道。岩石硬度为3～4级的泥质砂岩、泥质页岩与占平巷断面20—30％的5～6能的花岗岩。坑道断面为2.34平方公尺,采用木材支柱,手工打眼,人力运搬,辘轳提升,每天一班(8小时)掘进。1958年5月份进尺31.58公尺,6月份提高为月进50.12公尺,五个月共完成生产任务211.15公尺,给国家创造了价值55250元的财富。他们的经验主要是:
