目前农村有不少已达結果年龄而不結果的果树,据太谷县农建局李乃林同志談:仅候城公社即有过去年产量10万斤的梨树不結果。果农对此現象束手无策。因此,群众称它为“公梨树”,意思是永远不能結梨了,为揭露这个秘密,提高生产。于1958——1959年我院下放太谷大队,在党的領导下,破除了迷信,解放了思想,大搞群众运动,师生結合,在井神管理区,选10年,20年不結果的梨树各一株,进行了試驗。工作进行中承县社,管区各級領导及刘春仲等同志的协助,使我們胜利的完成了任务,在此特向协助单位和同志們致以衷心的謝意。
