我省地处亚热带,气候温和,雨量充沛,天然林以针阔叶树为主。松杂木蓄积占全省森林总蓄积量68%以上,占全年木材产量约71.3%。随着杉木资源比重下降,国家建设对木材的需要量不断增长,如何搞好松、杂木防腐、防虫、防裂,提高木材质量,扩大树种利用,已成为我省节约森林资源稳定木材采伐量,实行松杂代杉的一个亟待解决的问题。为了探索松、杂木材质变化规律,寻找防腐、防虫、防裂的途径,我们在全省四个地区和一个市的五个林场(站)开展了松、杂木自然干燥试验,经过一年的观察和材质鉴定证明,马尾松、枫香、木荷、拟赤扬等木材抗腐、抗虫能力明显提高,1976年在全省推广应用,都 The province is located in the subtropical, mild climate, abundant rainfall, natural forest to coniferous and deciduous trees.
