林木病虫普查工作是森保方面的一项基本建设,对于了解林木病虫的发展趋势,提高人们的预见性,以便有计划地开展科学研究,经济有效地进行病虫防治、植物检疫、益虫益菌的利用,以及提高教学质量等都具有十分重要的意义。现就所了解到的省内林木病虫普查工作的一些情况,及以往工作中接触到的一些实际问题,着重就林虫方面谈一些粗浅认识。一、定期开展林虫普查工作的必要性结合陕西的实际情况,从以下几方面,就可看出,定期开展林虫普查,是十分必要的。(一)地势起伏大,气候多样,林业生产类型和林虫区系复杂。我省位于北纬31°42′—39°45′、东经105°29′—110°15′,地跨黄河中游和长江支流的汉江、嘉陵江上游,

Now I have learned some clues about the census of forest pests and diseases in the province and some practical problems that I have encountered in previous work. I mainly talk about some superficial understandings on the forest pests. I. The Necessity of Carrying out Periodic Census Closer Work According to the actual situation of Shaanxi Province, we can see from the following aspects that it is very necessary to carry out the census of forest pests on a regular basis. (I) Undulating terrain, diverse climates, complex forestry types and forest insect fauna.
