口语交际能力是体现外语学习者综合语言能力的一个重要方面。随着中国加入WTO和世界一体化进程的加快,中国和国际间的交流日趋频繁,这也对我国的英语口语教学提出了更高的要求。当前,中国英语教学面临的最大挑战之一就是如何切实培养和提高学生的口语表达能力。近年来,我国大学英语教学与研究取得了很大进展,但是在大学英语口语教学方面还存在着许多不足,比如,大学英语课程体系对口语教学的忽视,教师没有树立正确教学理念,口语教师教学水平和整体素质不高,学生课堂沉默,缺少互动交流,口语学习动机不明显等现象仍普遍存在,本文旨在通过探讨目前大学英语口语教学中普遍存在的问题并在此基础上着重讨论如何通过“教”与“学”的角色转变提高大学口语教学水平。
Oral communication ability is an important aspect that reflects the language ability of foreign language learners. With China’s accession to the WTO and the acceleration of the process of world integration, exchanges between China and other countries are becoming more frequent. This also sets higher demands on the teaching of spoken English in our country. At present, one of the biggest challenges facing Chinese English teaching is how to effectively develop and improve students’ oral communication skills. In recent years, great progress has been made in college English teaching and research in our country. However, there are still many shortcomings in teaching oral English. For example, college English course system neglects oral teaching, teachers do not set up correct teaching ideas and teaching oral English The level and overall quality are not high, the students’ classroom silence, the lack of interaction and the unclear motivation of spoken language learning are still widespread. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the common problems in college English oral teaching and to discuss how to pass The Role Transformation of “Teaching” and “Learning” to Improve College Oral English Teaching.
