今年12月17日,是嵇文甫先生诞辰100周年.嵇文甫先生名明,字文甫,以字行.河南汲县人.是我国著名的马克思主义哲学家、史学家、教育家,被誉为“河南学术界一面伟大的旗帜”.嵇文甫先生出身于市民家庭.少年时期曾从学于同乡宿儒李敏修,熟谙旧学,青年时代又博览群书,深受新文化运动思潮的浸洇,故能融汇古今,贯通中西.先生早年又较系统地接受过马克思主义教育,是我国最早运用马克思主义唯物史观研究中国古代历史和哲学的著名学者之一.其一生著述甚丰,发表论著计300余篇(本),200余万言.早在30年代,河南学术界就有“南冯北嵇”之说.先对先生秦诸子哲学、宋明理学特别是王船山哲学的研究造诣精深,多有创见卓识.在先秦诸子哲学方面,自1918年发表处女作《老子发凡》始,先后著述《周末社会之蜕变与儒法两家思想上的斗争》(1929年)、《先秦诸子政治社会思想述要》(1939年)、《春秋战国史话》(1958年)、《对孔子的一个简单看法》(1961年)等多篇文章.其中,《先秦诸子政治思想述要》乃是我国较早公开出版的以马克思主义为指导研究中国古代哲学史的专著.而后来的《春秋战国思想史话》思想体系则更成熟,文字形式更通俗,仅以6万余字便扼要而全面地论述了先秦
