小夫妻利奥和佩吉在回家途中遇上车祸，利奥没有大碍，佩吉却被甩出车头，重伤昏迷。利奥好不容易等到妻子醒来，却发现佩吉失忆了，完全忘了他们这几年的相处，只记得离家出走前的事情。不管利奥怎么努力，出身有钱人家的佩吉一直想不起来。她和现在的艺术家生活格格不入，最后搬回父母家里。利奥再次追求无果，只好忍痛放手……
