深南大道系深圳市东西向主干道,东起黄贝岭西至蛇口工业区。大沙河桥为深圳南大道跨越大沙河之桥梁。大沙河无通航要求,以洪为主要功能。其上游有西沥水库及长岭皮水库,下游向南流入深圳湾。桥位处为华侨农场,但见芭蕉园、荔枝园,一派亚热带风光。现有桥梁为贝雷梁组成的双车道临时桥梁,远远满足不了日益增长的交通需要,因此尽快建成大沙河桥已迫在眉睫。该桥建成后,将大大提高交通运行能力,特别是深圳机场已建成使用,经济效益
