在云南省稻瘟病菌的有性世代研究中,发现了10个从水稻上分离的两性菌株(Hermaphrodicisolate ).它们与龙爪稷上分离的A或a交配型标准菌株交配,在接触部的两侧各产生了一到子囊壳.有的组合A、B两侧的子囊壳形态和大小差别不大,另一些组合则差异很大.但子囊和子囊孢子却都没有明显的形态区别.用其中属A交配型的5个菌株与属a交配型的5个菌株交配,有8个组合形成了子囊壳及成熟的子囊、子囊孢子,3个组合仅产生了子囊壳.用每转管移植一次后都与配对的标准菌株交配的方法,连续经过5次转管移植,证明这些稻瘟病两性菌株有性世代的形成能力是比较稳定的,产生子囊壳的数量不会因转管移植而减少.
