2003年2月17日上午,福州市劳动保障局与福州日报社,在福州火车站附近汽车北站前,共同举办“福州市外来务工人员就业现场指导活动。”市、五区劳劫保障部门有关职能机构,在规场为外来工进行就业指导。除了分发有关宣传材料外,还在现场张挂包括办理求职证程序、所需证件、持职业资格征书就业的工种(职亚)目录、职业介绍收费标准和外来工权益保护有关内容等宣传板。工作人员认真热情地回答外来工的咨询,为他们排忧解难难。劳动监察和劳动伸裁部门现场为合法权益受到侵害的打工者,接受投诉与受理纠纷案件,深受打工者的好评!现场有不少志愿者向咨询者赠送当日《福州日报》,该报共有4个版面专版提供万余个工作岗位信息,刊登与外来工息息相关的资料,成为外来打工者的“护身符”与“指南针”。
