中华人民共和国成立以来,我国最早的图书馆学情报学专业期刊当属1956年创刊的《中国科学院图书馆通讯》(现为《图书情报工作》),距今已近50载。20世纪80年代中期以后,全国图书情报专业期刊有了较大的发展,目前仍继续出版的约70种左右,其中公开出版的40种。就其总体格局特点而言:一是地域分布广,布局基本合理,除西藏、海南外,全国各省、市、自治区均办刊一至若干种;二是类型多样,风格各异,或重理论、或偏实践、或侧重信息报道,但三者兼而有之的综合型刊物居多;
Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the earliest professional journal of library science and information science in China was undoubtedly the “Chinese Academy of Sciences Library Newsletter” (now “Library and Information Service”) founded in 1956, nearly 50 years ago. Since the mid-1980s, there has been a great development in the periodicals of library and information science in China, and about 70 kinds of journals are currently still published, of which 40 are published in public. In terms of its overall pattern and characteristics: First, the geographical distribution is broad and the layout is basically reasonable.
