真德秀(1178—1235),先字实夫,后易为景元,再改字为希元,还有更字为景希一说。真德秀字“景希”这一说法,最早出自元脱脱等人编的《宋史》。《宋史》卷四百三十七本传云:“真德秀字景元,后更为景希。”沿袭《宋史》本传之说的有李清馥《闽中理学渊源考》、丁丙《善本书室藏书志》等。实际上,对真德秀字“景希”这一说法,曾国荃等编《福建通志》和中华书局1985年校注本《宋史》早已提出了质疑并加以订正,在中华书局1985年校注本《宋史》真德秀本传的校勘记中对《宋史》称“真德秀字景元,后更为景希”的说法作了订正:“希元,原
