加入世贸组织,是我国改革开放进程中具有历史意义的一件大事,是我国加入全球化行列、适应经济全球化趋势所作出的战略决策。经济全球化是当今世界经济发展的总趋势,它最基本的特征是商品、技术、信息特别是资本在全球范围内自由流动和配置,推动全球经济结构调整,使得各国经济相互依存、相互影响日益加深。尽管经济全球化趋势目前由发达国家所主导,但融入到经济全球化进程之中也有利于我国的经济发展。
China's accession to the WTO is a historic event in the process of China's reform and opening up. It is a strategic decision made by China in joining the ranks of globalization and adapting to the trend of economic globalization. Economic globalization is the general trend of economic development in the world today. Its most basic feature is the free flow and allocation of commodities, technologies, information, especially capital, on a global scale to promote the global economic restructuring and to make the economies of various countries interdependent and interact with each other increasingly deepen. Although the trend of economic globalization is currently dominated by developed countries, its integration into the process of economic globalization is also conducive to the economic development of our country.
