佛山是国家历史文化名城。作为岭南文化发祥地之一,佛山在其发展过程中形成了十分宝贵的历史文化传统,在岭南文化中独树一帜,别具特色,为戏剧创作提供了丰富的营养,近年来出现了一批在广东乃至全国有一定影响的地方题材的戏剧作品,但真正与佛山丰富的历史文化遗产相匹配的精品力作却并不多见。依笔者所见,在地方题材戏剧创作中,有以下儿个方面的问题需要注意: 一、关于题材开掘 佛山被誉为“历史名镇,改革先锋”。作为“历史名镇”,佛山历史上产生过不少名扬中外的人物,出现过不少激动人心的故事,为戏剧创作提供了丰富的素材。在创作中,我们一方面要拓展地方历史题材的表现领域,更重要的是要深化这类题材的思想内涵,提高作品的艺术质量。有的作者有表现地方历史题材的强烈愿望,在史料的收集方面作了大量的工作,但写出的作品却流于史实、传说的汜录与堆砌,缺乏思想的力量和
