今年67岁的陈梅月幼年丧父,从小一直生活在河南。陈梅月的一生极富传奇色彩,她集国民党元老之后、著名戏曲表演艺术家、慈善家、民间工艺美术大师、画家和社会活动家等多重身份于一身。她是国民党元老陈果夫惟一的外孙女;她15岁唱红津门,成为一代名伶,受到周恩来总理的夸赞;她一生收养了23名孤儿,培养出7位博士;她是中华纸塑脸谱第一人,被联合国教科文组织授予“民间工艺美术大师”称号;她是河南省华侨书画院常务副院长和世界陈氏联谊总会会长,力促祖国的和平统一。
Chen Mei-yue, 67, who lost his father in his childhood and has been living in Henan since childhood. Chen Mei-yue’s life is legendary. After she became a veteran of the Kuomintang, she became a famous actor in multiple roles such as theatrical artists, philanthropists, masters of folk arts and crafts, painters and social activists. She is the only granddaughter of the Kuomintang elder brother Chen Guofu; she sang Hongjinmen at the age of 15, became a generation of famous actors and was praised by Premier Zhou Enlai; she adopted 23 orphans in her life and trained seven Ph.Ds; She was awarded the title of “Master of Folk Arts and Crafts” by UNESCO. She is the standing vice president of the Overseas Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Henan Province and the president of the Chen Association of World Association for World Affairs, urging the peaceful unification of the motherland.
