改革开放的大潮在把企业推向市场,梧州松脂厂这个有着近50年创业历史的全国最大的松香生产林化企业也受到了前所未有的冲击:竞争企业发展到了200多家,原料不但减少了一半,而且价格翻了一番多;资金严重不足,仅1994年付出的利息就超过400万元……严峻的形势迫使该厂加快转换经营机制的步伐,努力探索出一条适合林化企业本身特点发展的新路子,通过发展深加工和高新技术产业生产高附加值产品的办法,使企业三年迈了三大步,实现了对国家贡献、企业效益、职工收入连年增长。
The tide of reform and opening up has brought companies to market. The Wuzhou pine fat plant, the country’s largest rosin production forestry company with nearly 50 years of entrepreneurial history, has also received unprecedented impact: more than 200 competitive enterprises have been developed and raw materials have not only been reduced by half. And the price has more than doubled; the funds are seriously insufficient, and the interest paid in 1994 alone exceeded 4 million yuan. The severe situation forced the plant to accelerate the pace of transforming the operating mechanism and strive to explore a suitable development for the characteristics of the forestry enterprise itself. The new approach, through the development of deep-processing and high-tech industries to produce high-value-added products, has enabled the company to make three major steps in three years, achieving a year-on-year increase in contributions to the country, corporate profits, and employee income.
