鞍侧腔是位于蝶鞍外侧区骨膜-硬膜间隙内成对的结构,由海绵窦、颅神经、交感神经、颈内动脉及其内的胶原纤维网所组成,其结构大部分在胎儿出生前形成。海绵窦是仅由一层内皮构成的静脉管样空腔结构。颅神经由胶原纤维束包裹、走行于鞍侧腔基质中;胎儿期颈内动脉在鞍侧腔中直行向前,并不形成明显的“S”形弯曲。鞍侧腔结构复杂,从胚胎发育角度研究鞍侧腔的组织学特点及其内诸结构解剖关系,是介入此区疾病外科入路的基础。
