中国传统雕塑艺术就好似一座座无人凭吊的纪念碑,孤独衰败地矗立在庙宇、博物馆或长眠地下。对于活在当下的中国人而言,古代雕塑不能像公共雕塑一样装点城市生活,又不能像西方雕塑一样欣赏和收藏,人们欣赏它只是出于对历史的尊重或是迷信的祈求,这些祥兽和图腾尴尬的命运也正影射着民族文化的尴尬。面对来自外界的各种文化冲击,传统文化艺术已经十分的边缘,人们只能用“传承”和“文化遗产”等字眼来表明我们的尊重。
Chinese traditional sculpture art is like an unmanned monumental monument standing alone in a temple, museum or dormant underground. For Chinese living in the present, ancient sculptures can not decorate urban life like public sculptures, nor appreciate and collect like western sculptures. People appreciate it only because of respect or superstition in history, Embarrassing destiny and totem are also embarrassing national culture. In the face of all kinds of cultural shocks from the outside world, traditional arts and cultural arts are already on the brink of oneness and people can only show us respect by the words “inheritance” and “cultural heritage.”
