鸦片战争后,帝国主义列强用大炮压服了腐朽的清政府,得以将魔爪伸入中国各地,对不同地区采取了不同的侵略手段。对于贵州这样荒僻的地方,采用经济上倾销洋货、掠夺自然资源,政治上倚重教会力量的办法。本文拟就传教士与贵州近代政治的关系进行粗浅的探讨,以求教于各位同仁。一、洋教士大量深入是带国主义侵略贵州的得力武器帝国主义的侵略政策,不仅以掠夺财富为目的,同时也企图从政治上,甚至领土上进行占领,但是对于贵州这样中国本国政府都力不从心的地方,帝国主义更无能力进行
After the Opium War, the imperialist powers used the artillery to subdue the decadent Qing government and allowed it to spread all over China. They adopted different methods of aggression against different regions. For such remote areas as Guizhou, they adopted the method of dumping foreign goods economically, plundering natural resources and relying heavily on the power of the church. This article intends to discuss briefly the relationship between missionaries and modern politics in Guizhou in order to ask for advice from all my colleagues. First, the mass infiltration of foreign priests into imperialist aggression against the powerful statemen in Guizhou is not only aimed at plundering wealth, but also attempting to occupy political and even territorial land.
