当前,实施素质教育是普教系统教育改革的中心任务,是全面贯彻党的教育方针的要求。从本质上讲,素质教育就是要使全体学生在德、智、体、美、劳诸方面得到全面协调发展。在由“应试教育”向“素质教育”转轨的过程中,各学科必须以素质教育为出发点,明确本学科在培养学生全面素质方面所起到的作用,才能很好地在学科教学改革中有针对性地实施素质教育。
